Banned social posts vol. 1
Sometimes Deliberatus really wants to post something on social media, but Deliberatus also needs to pay rent so those posts get eaten. They live here.
It’s not woke and you’re racist for watching it.
Opinion | The white privilege blind spot at the center of a grim new "Yellowstone" prequel
This is actually a good example of the left’s attempt to control culture by controlling entertainment. Bullying writes and producers into only telling stories that get the woke seal of approval effectively erases the existence of any other perspective. It’s what people are paranoid about the Chinese government using TikTok to do, except this call is coming from inside the house.
Or reading it
Colleen Hoover is the hottest author in America. She also may be the most controversial
“It was the same theme over and over again: timid female characters and overbearing, abusive love interests,” Atkinson tells CNN. “I don’t think anyone’s arguing abusive or controlling behavior can’t be written about. It’s the way it’s written, as if it can be excused or is just part of a normal relationship.”
No, you’re exactly saying it has to be written about a certain way because…because. That’s censorship. And it’s unquestionably bad.
Sorry for your success.
'This makes my brain hurt': Connecticut used disaster aid to rebuild million-dollar homes
Apparently being wealthy means you’re immune from bad luck that happens when a natural disaster hits. How about we treat everyone equally when it comes to disaster relief.
The anti-abortion lobby goes berserk
You got your Supreme Court verdict and have the cajones to show up with a new list of demands? Go away. Your single-issue existence has been ruled irrelevant.
Texas abortion law means woman has to continue pregnancy despite fatal anomaly
This is what we are pro-life for? So we can make sure babies are born without brains? Sorry but if that’s what we stand for then I want out. But something tells me voters will take care of that for us.
Oklahoma pols want database of everyone who has an abortion
Yes, government databases of people’s medical decisions. That’s what limiting the size and scope of government is all about.
There’s no such thing as media bias.
Tennessee’s House expels 2 of 3 Democrats over guns protest
This madness in Tennessee has not been the best strategic moment for our party. We made martyrs out of buffoons, apparently without realizing the lawmakers would just be re-appointed. Didn’t really think that one through, did we.
But this post is about media bias, which doesn’t exist. Except when it does:
“In an extraordinary act of political retaliation, Tennessee Republicans on Thursday expelled two Democratic lawmakers from the state Legislature for their role in a protest calling for more gun control in the aftermath of a deadly school shooting in Nashville. A third Democrat was narrowly spared by a one-vote margin.”
An “extraordinary act of political retaliation”? That’s one way of looking at it. “Narrowly spared”. Give me a break. The situation is certainly partisan, ugly, foolish and a national embarrassment. But that’s for readers to decide based on a factual presentation of the facts. The AP’s writers and editors didn’t respect their readers enough to make that presentation.
I’m torn on this one
White House sounds alarm on Freedom caucus budget plan
On one hand, this is why you don’t let your lunatic fringe handle your messaging. On the other hand, is it really that alarming to freeze spending? If you’re a Democrat, yes. The fact that the White House’s messaging will work here shows how addicted we are as a people to our cut of government spending. But would it be so hard to commit an act of journalism and explain how the exact same level of funding from one year to the next could possibly be considered a funding cut.
On the third hand…
House Republicans pass bill to slash IRS funding in first act of new Congress
I don’t know but a good way to not have to raise new taxes is to make sure people are paying the existing taxes they’re required to pay. Seems like we should find the agency that does that. You might even call it fiscally responsible.

The Colorado River is going dry to give us milk, steak, and hamburgers
When the left’s stealth war on agriculture becomes too effective and obvious to stop, remember the conservative leaders who spent this time focused on transgender bathrooms.

America’s Looming Conflict: Red Judges vs. Blue Governors
The article literally quotes elected lawmakers calling for ignoring court rulings. But paints the judges as the extremists.
